Soundproofing, sealing and thermal insulation - HANNO presented innovations and further developments for the rail vehicle and automotive industry at Innotrans. The sealing and insulation specialist presented two new product variants in melamine resin foams: The hydrophobic Hanno-Tect-F-free is fluorine-free and thus sets new standards when it comes to water-repellent materials impregnated without fluorine-containing ingredients. Hanno-Tect AL 18 tp convinces with a high 耐温性 of the aluminium lamination up to 140 degrees Celsius and briefly up to 180 degrees Celsius.

For more peace and quiet on board - to make travelling in rail vehicles quieter and safer, HANNO (Laatzen) develops and produces products for sound insulation, sealing and thermal insulation. At the Innotrans that took place by the end of September, the sealing and insulation specialist presented two new products from the Hanno-Tect product family. The first water-repellent impregnated Hanno product is called Hanno-Tect-F-free and does completely without fluorine-containing ingredients. HANNO is thus raising the bar to a completely different level in terms of sustainability and responsibility. True to the motto "We'll become fluorine free. Because green alone is not enough". The hydrophobic foam absorbs sound effectively in many areas, including rail vehicles, and at only ten kilograms per cubic metre is a real lightweight.

The second new product presented is Hanno-Tect AL 18 tp. The 开孔三聚氰胺树脂foam absorbs sound just as optimally and the aluminium lamination also withstands high temperatures of up to 140 degrees Celsius without any problems - for short periods even up to 180 degrees Celsius are possible. Hanno-Tect AL 18 tp can be adjusted to be hydrophobic or oleophobic and can be flexibly adapted to customer requirements. In addition, the foam features very good fire behaviour (HL3 according to EN 45545), is highly resistant to chemicals and has a 导热系数 of less than 0.035 W/m*K, which is just as low as Hanno-Tect-F-free.
